Minnesota Wilderness News Release
For the second season in a row, the Minnesota Wilderness used their home exhibition game to gather non-perishable food items for the local food shelter. Yesterday, players and staff were able to bring 449 pounds of food to the local food shelf to top our total of 323 pounds donated last season. To make the night even better, the Wilderness were able to defeat the Brookings Blizzard by a score of 6-2.
You can see the Minnesota Wilderness in action on Friday, September 26th and Saturday, September 27th versus the defending Robertson Cup champion, Fairbanks Ice Dogs. Puck drops at 7:05 PM but fun activities are being planned for the entire weekend. If you have any questions, please call the Wilderness office at 218-879-0910.
