
Wilderness Acquire Hermantown Alum Herter and Watkins

CLOQUET, MN - The Minnesota Wilderness have acquired Hermantown Alum, Jacob Herter and Tyler Watkins, from the USHL Hockey League.
Tyler Watkins' first appearance with the Wilderness came after he lead the Hermantown Hawks in points (54) during the 2017/18 season. During Watkins' time with the Wilderness in 2017, he appeared in 8 games and came out with 6 points. Watkins then spent time with the Muskegon Lumberjacks in the USHL.
Last season, Jacob Herter posted 42 points with the Hermantown Hawks. Since then Herter spent time with the Sioux City Musketeers. Both Watkins and Herter will be on the roster for the Wilderness Hockey Season in 2018.
Home Opener for the Wilderness is September 28th and 29th at Northwoods Credit Union Arena, against the Aberdeen Wings.
