Wichita Falls Wildcats News Release
The Wildcats will be hosting a benefit night for the Wichita Falls Faith Mission on Saturday, November 19th. Members of the Faith Mission will be at the game collecting items for their food pantry in preparation for the Thanksgiving weekend. The Faith Mission prepares nearly two hundred hot, nourishing meals daily for the needy and homeless people in Wichita Falls, which means they need help keeping their food pantry well stocked. To do this the Faith Mission relies primarily on donations from individual, churches and organizations in the community. The timing of the food drive could not be better with Thanksgiving right around the corner. Some items they are in need of for Thanksgiving dinner include turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, vegetables, potatoes, and fruit. Other high priority items include bread, milk, eggs, coffee, soup, laundry soap, and plastic eating utensils. The Wildcats encourage all fans in attendance to contribute to this worth while cause by bringing a donation to the game Saturday night. Donations will be collected on the concourse level of the Kay Yeager Coliseum starting at 6pm.
