Wildcats on 11-game Winning Streak

The Wildcats finished their six-game series in Alaska by sweeping the Alaska Avalanche in their final two games. The Cats scored three goals in the final period on Friday night, to skate away with the 6-4 victory. Cardwell scored two goals, and Salazar had three assists. Other goals were scored by Henderson, Detlefsen, Shkreli and Hartung.

The Wildcats are now on an eleven game winning streak and have improved their record to 38-12-2. The Cats continue to sit in first place in the NAHL South Division with seventy-eight points. While Topeka and Fairbanks are still a few games behind, the Wildcats hold a nine point lead over Topeka and a thirteen point lead over Fairbanks. Cardwell leads the league in scoring with eighty-six points and Salazar is right on his tail with eighty-five points.

The Wildcats have the next week off and then travel to Topeka on the 12th of March for a three-game series. The Cats will return home on the 21st and 22nd of March to take on the Springfield Jr. Blues.
