
Wild Travel to Undefeated Storm on Saturday

There is no doubt that the Wichita Wild will be underdogs as they head to Sioux Falls, SD to take on the Sioux Falls Storm in Indoor Football League (IFL) action on Saturday. The Storm are 11-0 and are defeating opponents by an average of 41.7 points per game including a 92-20 win over Wichita on March 26 at Hartman Arena. Wichita enters the game with a 4-7 record having won four out of their last six games.
Leading the way for the Storm offense is the duo of quarterback Chris Dixon and wide receiver James Terry. Dixon leads the league with 58 touchdown passes and has thrown only eight interceptions. Terry is tied with Wichita's Clinton Solomon for second in the league with 17 TD receptions. Terry played collegiately at Kansas State. The Storm defense has recorded 27 interceptions which ranks second in the IFL and allows 33.8 points per game.
Wichita is coming off of a dramatic 22-21 victory over Wet Texas last week. The last two Wild games have come down to the last play of the game before a winner was determined. Wild quarterback Phil Staback has thrown for 678 yards in four games with the club. He has 10 touchdown passes over that span.
Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 7:15 pm. The game can be heard on 1330-AM KNSS with pregame coverage starting at 7:00 pm. Fans can also gather at Emerson Biggins West where the game will be broadcast on their big screen TV's. Emerson Biggins West is located at 2330 N Maize Rd. (21st and Maize) in Wichita.
