
Wild Sign 2-Year Partnership with Cherry Creek Radio

WENATCHEE, Wash. - TheWenatchee Wild is pleased to announce that it has signed a 2-year partnershipwith Cherry Creek Radio to be theexclusive broadcaster of Wenatchee Wild hockey. The partnership begins with the2010-11 season and runs through the 2011-12 season.
"The Wild are looking forward to working with Cherry CreekRadio and KPQ 560 AM for the next two years," said Bill Stewart, Wenatchee Wild president and managing partner. "Thispartnership will allow the Wild to continue to deliver a high quality broadcastto Wild fans in North Central Washington and to the families of the players."
Cherry Creek Radio has broadcasted Wild games since theteam's inception in the NAHL in 2008. Cherry Creek Radio will broadcast all ofthe Wild's games over the next two seasons, with a majority of the games beingaired on KPQ AM 560. In addition,all games broadcast on KPQ AM 560 will also be streamed live on the Internet atwww.kpq.com
Cherry Creek Radio will welcome back Chris Hansen to the radio booth as the Wild's play-by-playcommentator. Hansen has served as the voice of the Wild since 2008.
"KPQ is the official station of the Wenatchee Wild and weare pleased and proud to continue to bring the Wild to North CentralWashington," said Dan Conway, Cherry Creek Radio general manager.
The Wild and Cherry Creek Radio will also produce a weeklybroadcast over the next two seasons called "Wild Wednesday". The weekly showwill air live on The Zone 1340 AM. Hosted by Jeremy Anders and Chris Clark, whoare both Wild front office personnel, the show will feature Wild players andother special guests.
