The coaching staff believes that this group of players has what it takes to reach the Intense Football League playoffs in 2008. The journey to the IFL 2008 playoffs will begin next Thursday, March 6 at 7:30pm at the Sullivan Arena versus the Fairbanks Grizzlies. "This year's training camp brought out the best in the players that we signed over the off- season," said AK Wild Head Coach Hans Deemer. "Now all we have to do as coaches is to make all of this talent come together as one unit."
The Alaska Wild is part of the Intense Football League (IFL). Founded in 2003, the IFL consists of a record nine professional indoor football teams, three of which are located outside of Texas, the Louisiana Swashbucklers of Lake Charles, the Alaska Wild of Anchorage, Alaska and the Fairbanks Grizzlies of Fairbanks, Alaska.
