
Wild knock off Warriors 5-1 in weekend opener

The Wenatchee Wild scored score twice on the power-play to hand the Michigan Warriors their first regulation home loss of the season in the opener of a 2-game weekend series.
The Wild got 2 goals (5,6) from Nicholas Rivera, to pave the way. Wenatchee also got goals from Parker Toumie (8), Matt Nuttle (2), Troy Loggins (10). The Warriors lone goal was scored by Josh Shellman (4).
Chase Perry stopped 27 shots for the Wild to earn his 5th victory of the season, while Warriors goaltender Trevor Gorsuch made 29 saves in a losing effort.
The Wild and Warriors play in a rematch at Perani Arena on Saturday night, November 23, with a 7PM face-off.
