
Wild GM is Speaker at DARE Graduation

Wichita Wild General Manager Mike McCoy spent part of Wednesday afternoon at Caldwell Elementary in Wichita as part of their annual D.A.R.E graduation ceremonies. D.A.R.E stands for Drug Awareness Resistance Education. D.A.R.E is implemented in 75% of America?s elementary schools. Over 100 5th grade students graduated from the program on Wednesday.
McCoy spoke about the importance of the D.A.R.E program and how honored he was to be a part of their day. McCoy also spoke about making good choices and the importance of doing the right thing.
D.A.R.E. is a police officer led series of classroom lessons that teaches children from kindergarten through 12th grade how to resist peer pressure and live productive drug and violence-free lives.
