
Wild Continue to Build Offense

The Wichita Wild of the Indoor Football League (IFL) has added two more players to the offensive side of the ball. The Wild have added wide receiver Tim Riley and offensive lineman John Sloan. Riley is NCAA Champion sprinter, while Sloan has been playing professional football at various levels since 2004.
This will be Riley's second season of professional football as he spent last season with the Texas Copperheads of Arena Football2. Riley played in 11 games for the Copperheads compiling 85 catches for 820 yards and eight touchdowns.
Riley attended St. Augustine's College in Raleigh, NC. Riley was a seven-time NCAA Division II All-American in track and was a two-time National Champion. The Falcons won the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship twice during his time at St. Augustine?s.
On the football field, Riley did most of his damage as a kick and punt returner. For his career, Riley averaged 35.5 yards on punt returns and 35.3 yards on kick returns. He caught 80 passes and scored 15 touchdowns in his career.
Sloan stands at 6'3 and 320 lbs. He has been playing outdoor, semi-pro football in California since 2004. In 2006, Sloan anchored an offensive line for the Inglewood Blackhawks, who won the league title. In 2007, Sloan started for the Ohio Valley Greyhounds of the United Indoor Football League. Sloan has also played in the Austrian Football League as well as various All-Star games for minor league and semi-pro players from across the country. Sloan played his college football at Mt. Jacinto College in San Jacinto, CA.
