Wild Announce Second Annual Postseason Jersey Auction

WENATCHEE, Wash. - The 2023-24 season was a historic one for the Wenatchee Wild, making their debut as members of the Western Hockey League. Though games have concluded for the Wild this season, there is still plenty of excitement to be had from the inaugural WHL campaign, as the team announces its second annual postseason jersey auction, set to begin tomorrow.

The team will auction its black jerseys, which were worn away from home during the preseason and first half of the regular season, and worn at home during the second half of the season and the WHL playoffs. All jerseys were worn in game action by Wild players, and have been autographed by the player who wore them.

The auction will take place through 32Auctions, which also hosted the team's postseason jersey auction last year. The minimum bid for each jersey is set at $425 - to view and bid on jerseys, visit 32Auctions.com/wildpostseasonjerseys2024, or follow links to the jersey auction through the Wenatchee Wild website and social media channels. Fans do not need a 32Auctions account to browse the jerseys in the auction, but will need a free account to bid. Bidding begins at noon Pacific time on Thursday, and runs through 6 p.m. Pacific time on Monday, May 6.

New this year, bidders can sign up to receive text alerts if they are outbid for an item, instead of relying on email notifications to keep track of their favorite items. Fans can also place proxy bids for their favorite jerseys, allowing the site to bid on their behalf up to a price that they specify, making it easy to stay ahead without constantly having to check the status of their items.

After successfully "Restoring the Roar" at Town Toyota Center during the 2022-23 season, the Wild vowed to do it again "WHL Style" in their first season on the new circuit in 2023-24. The team came through on that promise with flying colors, posting its best per-game attendance since 2011, with 3,030 fans a night coming through the doors. The Wild also registered multiple sellouts for the first time since the 2009-10 season, and topped the 100,000 attendance mark for the first time in team history. In their first year as a WHL member club, Wenatchee finished in fourth place in the Western Conference standings, earning home-ice advantage in the first playoff round.

The Wild saw their first WHL campaign conclude with 36 wins across a memorable regular season and postseason.
