Wild Announce 2011 Schedule; Home Opener on March 12

The Wichita Wild and the other 21 teams that make up the Indoor Football League (IFL) have finalized details of the 2011 schedule. The Wild will be competing in the Great Plains Division against the Nebraska Danger, Omaha Beef, and Sioux Falls Storm.

During the 2011 season, the Wild will play 14 regular season games with seven home games at Hartman Arena.

The season will kick-off on Monday, March 7 on the road in Grand Island, NE when the Wild take on the Nebraska Danger. Wichita's home opener will take place on Saturday, March 12 as the Wild host Green Bay. Following a bye, the Wild will welcome Sioux Falls to Hartman Arena on March 26. This game will be a re-match of the 2010 United Conference Championship game.
