Wichita's Matt Robinson Leads Oakley Three Stars for December

GLENDALE, AZ (January 2, 2014) - Wichita Thunder forward Matt Robinson, St. Charles Chill goaltender Robby Moss and Rapid City Rush forward Winston Day Chief have all been named the "Oakley Three Stars" for the month of December/2013.

For winning the "˜Oakley Three Star Player of the Month' for December, Robinson will receive a special gift from Oakley. To learn more about Oakley's wide range of products, visit www.oakley.com.

Players are awarded five points for being a game's first star, three points for being named the second star and a single point for being named the third star of the game. Keep up with the season-long standings and quest to be the Oakley Three Star Player of the Year at www.centralhockeyleague.com.

First Star - Matt Robinson, F, Wichita Thunder

Robinson tallied 25 points in the month by earning five first star honors. The forward was named the first star of the game in three consecutive contests (12/21, 12/27 and 12/28) and finished December with six goals and nine assists.

Second Star - Robby Moss, G, St. Charles Chill

Moss only won three of his eight December starts in net but was named a star of the game in half of his appearances. He finished with a .914 save percentage to go along with two first star honors, one second star and one third star.

Third Star - Winston Day Chief, F, Rapid City Rush

Day Chief was one of numerous players with 13 points in the month but he accomplished that total in just six games. The forward earned two first stars and one second star while scoring seven goals with five assists (a two point per game average for the month).
