
Wichita Wild Announce 2012 Roster

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Wild of The Indoor Football League (IFL) announced today the teams full 25 man roster for the upcoming 2012 season.
Opening up on the road this Saturday, February 25th against the Allen Wrangler, Wichita's roster features several returning stars from the 2011 season, as well as many new talents. Returners to the Wild this season will include Quarterback Phil Staback, Offensive Linemen Brett Cavanah, Wes Yarbough, and Jason Enos, Running Back Kenny Wilson, Defensive Back Scooter Rodgers, and Defensive Lineman Matt Moss (returning from play in the Canadian Football League), among others.
The Wild have also added many new talents to the roster this year. At the Wide Receiver position, the Wild have brought in two All-Star additions including the 2011's IFL League leading receiver Tim Simmons, as well as young talent Doug Pierce. At Offensive Line, the Wild have added the 6'9" 360lb force of Nick Faber, a fellow Winona State University ball player to Jason Enos.
The Wild have also added several top talents on the Defensive side. Defensive Back Kiaree Daniels out of the University of Norther Illinois and Defensive End Kwame Jordan out of Louisiana Tech University will both add depth and speed to a Wild Defense that held their opponents to only 31 points per game over the final 7 games of the 2011 season.

The Wichita Wild will open up the 2012 season with two games on the road against the Allen Wranglers on February 25th, followed by a March 2nd game against the Omaha Beef in Omaha. Wichita will then kick-off their home opener at Hartman Arena on Friday March 9th when they take on the Sioux Fall Storm at 7:05pm (C.T.)
