Wichita Stealth Bomb Squad Selected

Wichita Stealth News Release
Wichita, Kan. - The Wichita Stealth announced today that they have selected the twenty ladies that will be apart of the 2004 edition of their dance team, the "Bomb Squad." The ladies were selected from a quality group of dancers that tried out this past weekend at the open tryouts. Dance member names and a brief bio of each are listed below (in alphabetical order). The Stealth would like to thank the Four Points Sheraton, and 96.3 KRZZ for their help with the "Bomb Squad" tryouts.
AMANDA G. (Director) â Amanda G. will be starting her third season as the director of the "Bomb Squad", and brings over 20 years of dance experience to the squad. Amanda is in charge of choreographing all routines for the squad and is the liaison between the dance team and the front office.
AMANDA W. â Amanda W. will be beginning her first year with the squad. Former Augusta High School and Wichita State dance team member. Brings over 22 years of dance experience to the squad.
AMY â Amy is back for her fourth year on the squad. Former Maize High School, Cowley County Community College, Wichita State and Ladylords dance team member. Brings over 13 years of dance experience to the squad.
ANTOINETTE â Antoinette will be beginning her first year with the squad. Former North High School pom squad member. Brings over eight years of dance experience to the squad.
CAROLYN â Carolyn will be beginning her first year with the squad. Brings one year of dance experience and over eleven years of gymnastic experience to the squad.
CHRISTINE â Christine will be beginning her first year with the squad. Former University of Texas-Arlington and Kettle Moraine High School (Wales, Wisconsin) dance team member. Brings over 13 years of dance team experience to the squad.
COURTNEY â Courtney will be beginning her first year with the squad. Brings over four years of dance experience to the squad.
CRYSTAL â Crystal is back for her fourth year on the squad. Former South High School and Friends University dance team member. Brings over seven years of experience to the squad.
ERIN â Erin will be beginning her first year with the squad. Former Valley Center High School and Wichita State dance team member. Brings over two years of dance experience to the squad.
JAMIE â Jamie is back for her third year with the squad. Former Concordia High School, Barton County Community College, and Salina Cagerz dance team member. Brings over eight years of dance experience to the squad.
JENIFER â Jenifer is back for her third year on the squad. Former West High School and Cowley County Community College dance team member. Brings over nine years of dance experience to the squad.
JESSICA â Jessica will be beginning her first year with the squad. Former Campus High School pom and cheer squad member. Brings over six years of dance experience to the squad.
KASEY â Kasey is back for her fourth year on the squad. Former Wichita Wings, Pittsburg State, Wichita State and Ladylords dance team member. Brings over twenty years of dance experience to the squad.
KRISTEN â Kristen will be beginning her first year with the squad. Former East High School and Butler County Community College dance team member. Brings over two years dance experience to the squad.
LACEY â Lacey will be beginning her first year with the squad. Former Wichita Aztecas dance team member. Brings over six years of dance experience to the squad.
MARY â Mary is back for her second year on the squad. Former Circle High School and Cowley County Community College dance team member. Brings over seven years of dance experience to the squad
MELANIE â Melanie will be returning for her second stint with the squad. She was a member of the 2002 "Bomb Squad." Former Barton County Community College cheerleader. Brings over two years of dance experience to the squad.
PATTI â Patti is back for her third year on the squad. Former East High School, Cowley County Community College, and Ladylords dance team member. Brings over six years of experience to the squad.
RACHAEL â Rachael will be beginning her first year with the squad. Former gymnast who won the 1998 state championship. Brings one year of dance experience to the squad and over 15 years of gymnastic experience to the squad.
SHEILA â Sheila will be beginning her first year with the squad. Former Wichita Spirit Sparklers dance team member. Brings over four years of experience to the squad.
**STEALTH NOTES: Season tickets are available by calling the Stealth ticket sales representatives at 316.755.3307. Fans can secure the same great seats for all eight home games during the 2004 season for as little as $80. The Stealth will kickoff their fourth season in April 2004.
