
Whitecaps FC to Face LAFC in MLS Cup Playoffs

VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC are set to open the MLS Cup Playoffs against defending MLS Cup champions Los Angeles FC in their Round One Best-of-3 series.
Dates and times are to be announced. Round One matches will be played between October 28 and November 12. For tickets, visit ticketmaster.ca/whitecaps.
Whitecaps FC enter the playoffs after finishing in sixth place in the Western Conference, while LAFC finished in third place. The 'Caps have faced LAFC four times during 2023. Whitecaps FC took the regular season series with a 3-2 win in Los Angeles on June 24, and a 1-1 draw at BC Place to end the regular season on October 21. In Concacaf Champions League play, LAFC advanced past the 'Caps over two legs in the quarterfinal round.
This will be the first time that Whitecaps FC and LAFC meet in the MLS Cup Playoffs.
