Perennial New England Division 3 powerhouse Wheaton College players Ryan Grant and Justin Peluso are ready to go for the 2013 North Shore Navigators when the Navs begin their second season in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League next June.

Grant, a native of Easton, MA will be a Navigator for a 3rd summer when he reports to Lynn in early June. The 6'2" junior reliever has enjoyed a stellar career for the Lyons, saving 23 games in his first two seasons. The durable side-armer will be counted on in the late innings once again this summer as the Navs look to better their 2nd place finish from 2012. Ryan made 20 appearances for North Shore in 2012, recording 3 saves.

Peluso, from North Reading, is a versatile infielder and will provide depth for the Navigators at both second and third base next summer. Peluso played his high school ball locally at St. John's Prep in Danvers, MA.

The FCBL prides itself on providing opportunities for New England-based players like Grant and Peluso. Half of each team's roster is comprised of athletes from New England or New England colleges giving over 200 athletes from New England a place to showcase their skills.

The Navigators will open the season on June 6th with the full schedule to be released in the near future. For information on Navs season tickets, deck parties or corporate sponsorships, email navigators GM Bill Terlecky at navigatorsm@gmail.com.
