Whalers Select 13th in Saturday's OHL Draft

At the Whalers' recent season-ending banquet, several fans had the same question:

"Who's going to play with Tyler Seguin next year?"

Whaler fans may get an idea on Saturday when Plymouth participates in the annual OHL Draft, formally known as the OHL Priority Selection.

We'll have complete coverage of the Whalers' selections on www.plymouthwhalers.com and you'll be able to see many of the drafted players at Rookie Orientation at Compuware Arena on May 16-17.

The draft used to be a hard copy of the National Hockey League Entry Draft, in that it was held live during the first weekend in May at one of the OHL venues.

Although the draft back then was fun to cover live, the OHL went internet-only several years ago.

The Ontario Hockey League continues to improves its' coverage of the draft.

Cogeco-TV's Terry Doyle will host a webcast of Saturday's draft starting at 9am.
