WHA2 announces ESPN Club "SportsTalk Live!" schedule

CELEBRATION, Fla. – The World Hockey Association 2 (WHA2) today announced the February appearance schedule for the ESPN Club's Tuesday night "SportsTalk Live!" with the WHA2.

The ESPN Club is located at Disney's BoardWalk Resort. Every Tuesday night a member of the WHA2 will be at the ESPN Club for a half an hour to discuss the latest news in the league. Fans are invited to come to the ESPN Club to meet and ask questions of the players, coaches and front office staff that make up the WHA2. "SportsTalk Live!" begins at 7pm.

Orlando Seals Assistant Coach Chris LiPuma will be the special guest on February 3. LiPuma is no stranger to Orlando hockey. He won the Championship with the Orlando Seals last season and played for the IHL Orlando Solar Bears. LiPuma played for the NHL Tampa Bay Lightning and San Jose Sharks.

On February 17, Miami Manatees Head Coach Zac Boyer will be the guest. Boyer was the assistant coach for All-Star Team at the WHA2 All-Star Game on January 27 in Jacksonville. Boyer was drafted 88th overall in the 1991 NHL Entry draft by the Chicago Blackhawks. He won a Memorial and Turner Cup and the Championship with the Orlando Seals last season.

Lakeland Loggerheads Jim Callahan will be the guest on February 24. Callahan was named to the WHA2 All-Star team. The League All-Stars beat the Jacksonville Barracudas 7 – 6 in overtime at the WHA2 All-Star Game.

There will not be a WHA2 "SportsTalk Live!" on February 10.

The ESPN Club hosts "SportsTalk Live!" almost every night. Call the Club information line at 407-939-1177 for scheduled appearances.

The WHA2 has six member teams for the 2003 – 2004 season: the Alabama Slammers, Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, Macon Trax, Miami Manatees, and Orlando Seals. Every game will be broadcast on www.irn.fm.
