West Virginia Blazers To Participate In Bridge Day

West Virginia Blazers News Release


Bluefield, WV. The ABA WV Blazers will be working with the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce on Bridge Day, Oct 17-19, at the New River Gorge Bridge to raise money for the Chamber. Bridge Day will bring approximately 80,000 people from around the world to Fayetteville, WV to watch base jumpers jump from the New River Gorge Bridge, the world's second highest steel arch span bridge. The Blazers will be selling 50/50 tickets and working the donation booths to raise money for the Bridge Day Fund. 50/50 tickets will be $5 each. Donate to Bridge Day and get a free gift from the WV Blazers! Bring your camera and have your picture taken with your favorite Blazer or Blaze, the mascot, and get autographs! There will be four donation barrels on each side of the bridge - just look for the Blazer players and you will find your chance to win the 50/50 drawing.
