
West Texas Roughnecks Announce Coaching Internships

West Texas Roughnecks News Release
The West Texas Roughnecks are seeking a qualified candidate to serve as an assistant coaching intern for the 2012 LSFL football season. This position will report to the Head Football Coach, and will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of game and practice preparations. The Assistant Football Coach Intern will be held accountable for the following:
- Film evaluation and breakdown for coaching and personnel purposes.
- Assisting equipment staff with the setup and breakdown of the field for practices and workouts.
- Individual scouting projects that includes film analysis, composing scouting reports and managing contacts
- Other duties may be assigned by the Head Football Coach.
The position begins immediately and continues throughout the 2012 Lonestar Football League season (June 2012). A positive attitude towards the program is essential; the ability to function as a team player and to perform in a productive, professional manner at all times is required. This position is unpaid, although we do provide several meals a week.
