West Michigan Thunderhawks To Hold Open Try-Out December 6

West Michigan Thunderhawks News Release
Grand Rapids, Michigan - The West Michigan ThunderHawks of the Indoor Football League will conduct an open try-out for prospective players on Sunday, December 6, 2009 from Noon to 3:00 p.m. (E.S.T.). The try-outs will take place at the MVP Sports Spot, 3701 32nd Street SE, in Kentwood, Michigan. An interactive map to the facility is available at the team's website (www.westmichiganthunderhawks.com).
Cost for the try-outs is $50 and payable only by cash or money order. Registration will take place from 11:00 a.m. to Noon.
Participants will be tested in the following:
* 40-yard dash
* 20-yard short shuttle
* L-drill
* standing broad jump
* position-specific drills
Cleats recommended.
All kickers interested in trying-out must e-mail Coach Miller at rmiller@westmichiganthunderhawks.com by Friday, Dec. 4th, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. You will then be given your try-out time for Sunday.
All participants will be required to sign a try-out waiver prior to testing.
