PLAYERS TO PRESENT FANS WITH "JERSEYS OFF OUR BACKS" AFTER FINAL MATCH: The Colorado Rapids will present lucky fans with the "Jerseys off our Backs" after the Rapids' final match of the 2012 season on Saturday night. The "Jerseys off our Backs" program will offer fans the chance to receive authentic player jerseys on the field in a special post-game ceremony, where all Rapids players on the roster will present the lucky fans with their shirts (with those playing in the match presenting their game-worn jerseys) complete with an autograph. Rapids staff will visit randomly selected seats in the first half to find the participants, so all fans are encouraged to arrive at their seats early in the match if they would like to take part.

ONLINE VOTING NOW OPEN FOR 2012 FAN FAVORITE AWARD: Voting is now open on www.ColoradoRapids.com for the Fan Favorite Award, a new award where Rapids supporters from around the globe can choose their favorite player of the 2012 season. Fans can select up to three players, whether for play on the field, service in the community, interaction with fans or anything else, and the player with the highest percentage of votes will be determined the winner. The Fan Favorite Award will be presented after this Saturday night's match against the Houston Dynamo, which is Fan Appreciation Night at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City.

RIVERO AND HILL LEAD RAPIDS OVER CHIVAS USA 2-0: The Colorado Rapids downed Chivas USA 2-0 on Saturday, Oct. 20 at The Home Depot Center in the Rapids' final road match of the season thanks to first-half goals from MartÃ-n Rivero and Kamani Hill. Rivero scored his second goal of the season in the 16th minute, collecting a Jaime CastrillÃ"n flick off a Tyson Wahl cross before finishing from a tight angle. Hill finished his fourth of the 2012 campaign, his first season in MLS, just before halftime, perfectly placing a header off a great cross from Omar Cummings.

CEUS EARNS FIRST SHUTOUT IN FIRST-EVER MLS START: Rapids goalkeeper Steward Ceus of West Haverstraw, NY, earned a shutout in his first career MLS start in the 2-0 victory over Chivas USA on Saturday night. The 6'6" goalkeeper made two saves on the night to keep the clean sheet, fighting off Chivas USA's 14 attempts on goal. Ceus made his MLS debut on October 6 against San Jose, coming in for an injured Matt Pickens, and is expected to start for the Rapids again this Saturday against Houston Dynamo.
