ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter the seventh week of the 2004-2005 regular season with a 11-7-2-0 record (7-2-2-0 at home, 4-5-0-0 on the road, 2-0-2-0 in overtime) and in first place in the BC DIVISION...KOOTENAY will host the MEDICINE HAT TIGERS on Wednesday, November 10 before traveling to KAMLOOPS (November 12) and VANCOUVER (November 14).

KAL TIRE SHOOTOUT: When the ICE host the CALGARY HITMEN on Friday, November 19, one lucky fan will have the opportunity to win $10,000 in the KAL TIRE SHOOTOUT contest.

GREYHOUND COURIER EXPRESS NIGHT: When KOOTENAY hosts RED DEER on Friday, November 26, one lucky fan in attendance will have the opportunity to win up to $1000 cash compliments of GREYHOUND COURIER EXPRESS.

EAST KOOTENAY COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION PUCK TOSS: When the ICE host the KELOWNA ROCKETS on Saturday, November 27, the EAST KOOTENAY COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION will be hosting their PUCK TOSS NIGHT...Proceeds from this event will benefit KIDSPORT.

DID YOU KNOW: NIGEL DAWES needs two goals to move into first place in all-time goals scored with the ICE franchise (JARRET STOLL leads with 124) and nine assists to move into fifth place in all-time assists (JASON JAFFRAY is fifth with 102 career assists)...BEN MAXWELL recorded his first career WHL goal November 3 versus BRANDON...JEFF GLASS became the all-time leader for minutes played by a goaltender with the KOOTENAY franchise with 5,992...GLASS is also the franchise leader in career games played (106), ties (10) and shutouts (11)...GLASS is second in franchise saves with 2,434 (DAN BLACKBURN leads with 2,625 saves) and wins with 48 (BLACKBURN leads with 67)...The ICE are 2-0-0-0 in games played in November (6-7-1-0 in October, 3-0-1-0 in September).

ONE YEAR AGO: After 20 games of the 2003-2004 season the ICE were 10-7-1-2, after 21 games 10-8-1-2 and after 22 games 11-8-1-2.
