Quotables

David Markley, Aztex founder and co-owner to Adam Winkler of KEYE regarding MLS Expansion:

"We are glad that Austin continues to be mentioned as a candidate for future MLS expansion. It's both a testimony to our city and what we've achieved so far, and an indication of the work that remains to be done, primarily with respect to a stadium. We've always believed that MLS would expand beyond 24 teams at some point, and the Aztex are committed to working with the city and our supporters to put Austin in the best position for a favorable bid when the proper time comes."

Aztex forward Drew Yates, to Austin American-Statesman after scoring two goals versus OKC:

"Just to kind of get in a groove, you have to get a couple games under your belt," Yates said. "I started getting it back a bit last game. It's all about getting into a rhythm, and that's what I was able to do tonight."

Aztex Announce Mini Plan Ticket Packages

The deadline has passed for the one-time opportunity for fans to purchase full season tickets and join the Aztex Originals. Now, the Aztex are offering three game and five game packages, where fans can pick the games they want to attend.
