THE SERIES: It's the 9th and 10th meetings of the season between the Amarillo Bulls and the Odessa Jackalopes. The Bulls have five wins in the first eight meetings of the season and have outscored Odessa 24-10 in the last four meetings. The two teams will see one another again on the final weekend of regular season (Friday, Apr. 5, Saturday, Apr. 6) at Ector County Coliseum.

ACROSS THE SOUTH-PUSH TO THE PLAYOFFS: The Lone Star Brahmas have a three-point lead on the Shreveport Mudbugs for home, and seven points over fourth place Corpus Christi in the South Division. The Brahmas visit the IceRays at American Bank Center, while the Mudbugs entertain the Topeka Pilots at George's Pond Hirsch Coliseum. The Pilots are seven points back of the fourth and final playoffs pot with nine game remaining.

BULLS STATS ETC: Logan Jenuwine needs one goal to set a single season scoring mark in Amarillo Hockey History. He trails Chris Brooks by one and is two shy of hitting the 50 goal plateau. The Romeo Michigan native is seven points ahead of Samuel Solensky in the scoring race.

Meantime, defenseman Brenden Datema continues on a record-setting pace among defenseman in Amarillo Bulls history. Datema has 53 points and has moved ahead of John Rey in a single season total, but trails Mark DeSantis who had 54 points as a professional with the Amarillo Gorillas.

The Amarillo Bulls have netted 38 first goals in 51 games this season which is three fewer than the Aberdeen Wings which have 41 goals in 51 games. Rocky Russo's charges have been outshot just twice on home ice this season and seven times in total.
