Bismarck defensive back Mike Carrigan provided a spark for the Bucks with a big return on the special team's unit. Carrigan had three kickoff returns for 102 total yards and one touchdown. With 2:44 left in the first half, Carrigan scooped the kickoff from the back wall and took it the length of the field it for a touchdown to stop a 15-0 run from the Barnstormers and extend the Bucks lead, 27-15. Bismarck would go on to run away with it in the second and defeat Iowa, 53-22.
