The Indoor Football League (IFL) is proud to announce the Vidswap.com Players of the Week for Week 16 of the 2016 IFL season.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Kyle Kaiser (WR, Colorado Crush)

The Colorado Crush finally got back in the win column and it came from an explosive performance against a United Conference Playoff team in the Wichita Falls Nighthawks. Crush WR Kyle Kaiser, who has built an IFL career based on the incredible, came up in the clutch for the Crush as he snagged the game-winning touchdown pass from QB Damien Fleming with just 12 seconds remaining. Kaiser's clutch play gave the Crush a 61-56 victory and the play came at the apex of a night where Kaiser (6'2,185, Nebraska-Kearney) was the Crush's main offensive weapon. The three-time First Team All-IFL wide receiver finished his night catching eight passes for 82 yards and four touchdowns. Kaiser is now tied for third in the league with 20 touchdown receptions on the season. Colorado hosts Nebraska in Week 18.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: David Toriola (DL, Green Bay Blizzard)

In a defensive battle, it was Defensive Lineman David Toriola who helped spark the Green Bay Blizzard's 23-20 comeback victory vs the Tri-Cities Fever. Early in the second quarter when the Fever led the Blizzard 14-0, Toriola (6'2, 290, Maine) grabbed a Fever fumble and returned it 11 yards for a touchdown. The score marked a shift in momentum as the Blizzard would go on make four of the next five scores in the game. Toriola finished the game with two tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, a sack and a touchdown. The Green Bay Blizzard enjoy a bye week before hosting the Wichita Falls Nighthawks on June 25.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Nicholas Belcher (K, Cedar Rapids Titans)

The Cedar Rapids Titans clinched the number two seed in the United Conference in a 28-20 defensive battle with the Billings Wolves. In a matchup of the top two defensive teams in the IFL, it was the special teams unit that made a strong difference. Titans Kicker Nicholas Belcher takes home his third IFL Special Teams Player of the Week award this week after converting a perfect three of three field goals attempts. Belcher (5'9,175 South Carolina State) made ten of Cedar Rapids' points and was critical in the two teams low scoring affair. Belcher leads the IFL in converted field goals with 25 on the season. Cedar Rapids enjoys a bye week before wrapping up their 2016 regular season campaign at Iowa.
