CLEARWATER, Fla- Wednesday afternoon's contest between the Daytona Tortugas and Palm Beach Cardinals was postponed due to rain at BayCare Ballpark.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader of two seven-inning games on Thursday, with game one to begin at 4:00 p.m., with the second contest to follow 30 minutes following the conclusion of game one.
Daytona is expected to start RHP Ben Brutti (0-2, 3.26) in game one and RHP Jose Franco (1-0, 2.66) in the second contest. Clearwater is anticipating RHP Luke Russo 1-0, 3.18) for game one with the second game's starter TBA. First pitch from Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. with pregame coverage on the Tortugas Radio network with Brennan Mense begins at 3:50 p.m.
