WCL Championship Series Game Tomorrow Night at Goss Stadium

Your Corvallis Knights advanced to the West Coast League Championship Series by beating the Walla Walla Sweets last night 6-2 in a decisive game three of the WCLDS at Goss Stadium. Three-year Knights' hurler Connor Redmond earned the win as he turned in another quality post-season start. Designated hitter Nick Yovetich of San Francisco delivered the game's big hit, a three-run homer (read more).

This will be the Knights fourth consecutive WCLCS appearance. Corvallis has made 10 appearances in the WCLCS, capturing the league title six times. The Knights are looking to win a fourth straight championship. Victoria and Corvallis met in the 2017 WCLCS, which the Knights won 2 games to 1. This will be Victoria's second WCLCS appearance.

Game one of the series is tonight at The Wilson Group's Stadium at Royal Athletic Park in Victoria. First pitch is set for 6:35 pm. For streaming options for this evening's game, please visit harbourcats.com. David Watson of Utah (5-1, 4.02) is the Knights' probable starting pitcher. There will be no game one broadcast on KEJO 1240 AM.

Game two is at OSU's Goss Stadium on Saturday, August 17 at 7:05 pm. If necessary, game three would be played at Goss on Sunday, August 18 with a start time of 5:05 pm.
