Milwaukee Wave United News Release

(Milwaukee, WI) Milwaukee Wave United, the Wave's A-League (outdoor) team took advantage of another outing on the Pat Jones Field Sunday (6/29) at Uihlein Soccer Park to register a 4-0 win over the Indiana Blast. The win was Milwaukee's second straight and improved its record to 6-4-0 (18 points) as Art Kramer's team moved into a third place tie in the Central Division with the Cincinnati Riverhawks. Wave United is now 3-3-0 at Uihlein Soccer Park, including a 2-0 mark on the Pat Jones Field where it has outscored the opposition 8-0. (Milwaukee defeated Portland 4-0 on 6/8 at the PJF).

Forward Todd Dusosky recorded the first hat trick of his outdoor professional career as he scored the first three goals for Wave United. Midfielder Steve Bernal capped off the scoring as Milwaukee tied its season high for most goals scored. Meanwhile, Goalkeeper Jim Larkin picked up his fourth shutout of the season, the fifth overall for Wave United in 2003. Larkin got plenty of help from the Milwaukee defense, which limited the Blast to just five shots.

Todd Dusosky's natural hat trick (three consecutive goals scored) was more than enough for Milwaukee to defeat the Indiana Blast 4-0 on the Pat Jones Field at Uihlein Soccer Park. Dusosky struck first in the 14th minute when he nodded in a header from Joe Hammes, who picked up his first professional point on the assist. Dusosky made it 2-0 in the 59th when he ran on to a long pass from Greg Howes to beat Indiana goalkeeper Armando Femia. Todd completed the hat trick in the 68th when he knocked in a defection from six yards out following a free kick blast by Dino Delevski. Steve Bernal capped off the scoring with his first of the season from John Ball in the 77th. Wave United goalkeeper Jim Larkin did not have to make any saves in the process of recording his fourth shutout of the season. Milwaukee's defense limited the Blast to just two quality chances in the first half.
