Christian Night and Pre-game Concert Tomorrow

INDIANAPOLIS-The Indiana Blast will host the Cincinnati Riverhawks tomorrow night for the last time in 2003. The 7:35pm kick-off will be preceded by a pre-game concert featuring David Michael Carrillo. The local star is a classical guitarist who has been welcomed by several churches throughout America and recently returned from a tour of Wisconsin.

Several churches throughout Central Indiana will be bringing their youth groups out to the game tomorrow evening to experience the exciting Blast atmosphere.

BLAST TRANSACTIONS-Due to the July 1st guaranteed contract date, the Blast have made several player moves. The Blast have released goalkeeper Josh Lynk, midfielder Vorgen Less, and forward Myron Vaughn.

Vaughn has taken a position with the Indiana Blast Soccer Camps for the remainder of the camp season.

First year Blast player and long time A-league veteran Mali Walton has been appointed as an assistant coach to Mike Sanich. Walton will remain on the active roster.

SOME LIKE IT HOT-Don't forget to sign up for the 1st annual Some Like It HOT Adult 4 on 4 tournament scheduled for July 26th. The day-long event will be followed by a pre-game party with the Blast kicking off at 10:00pm against the Vancouver Whitecaps in their only meeting of the 2003 regular season. The tournament registration deadline has been extended to Tuesday, July 15th. THIS WEEK-The Blast will host the Cincinnati Riverhawks tomorrow night in their last meeting of the season. The team will have the long weekend off and will reconvene early next week to prepare for their trip to Charlotte, NC on July 11th.

NEXT HOME GAME- The Blast will be home again on July 13th at 7:05PM against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. The game will cap off the 5th annual Mid-Summer Magic tournament to take place July 12th and 13th at Kuntz Stadium.

INDIANA BLAST SOCCER CAMPS-There is still time to Train with the Pros at Indiana Blast Soccer Camps. Space is limited and camps are filling up fast.
