Milwaukee Wave Goodbye to Blast

August 31, 2003 - A-League (A-League)
Indiana Blast News Release

INDIANAPOLIS- The Indiana Blast (3-22-3 12pts) lost to Milwaukee Wave United (18-10-0 54 pts) Sunday night at Kuntz Stadium. It was the final game of the season for the Blast, who gave up another 90th minute goal. Todd Dusosky scored in the final 10 seconds of regulation to give Milwaukee the A-League Central Division title.

This was a fitting finale for the Blast that ended unlucky just like so many other games this season. A couple of missed chances, a couple of suspect calls, and a late goal resulted in a loss for the Blast. Indiana created several scoring opportunities, the best of which came from Rodrigo Costa in the 70th minute, but his shot went wide.

Greg Howes created the goal for Milwaukee. Howes dribbled all the way down the right flank and sent a cross into Todd Dusosky, who ripped a shot past Armando Femia in the last minute before stoppage time to give Milwaukee the win.
