
Watson Signs with Chicago Rush

Rochester Brigade News Release
(Rochester, N.Y.)-Rochester Brigade head coach Mark Saunders announced that OL/DL Willie Watson has signed with the Chicago Rush (1-3) of the Arena Football League (AFL) as a member of their practice squad.
Last season Watson played in eight games for the Brigade before he missed the second half of the season with a broken foot. In those eight games he registered 12.5 tackles (10 solo), 4.5 tackles for a loss of 17 yards, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one pass breakup. Watson was named the ADT Defensive Player of the game and Built Ford Toughman of the game against the Mohegan Wolves on May 17, 2002. In that game he registered 5.5 tackles (5 solo), two tackles for a loss of four yards and one pass breakup.
