
Washington Raptors Sign Native American Player

Oakville, WA. Tim Joseph, President/GM of the ABA Washington Raptors has announced the latest addition to the Raptors roster - Samuel Boyd, a 6' 2007 Oakville High School graduate who plays the 2/3. Boyd is a member of the Chehalis tribe and was a standout on his high school basketball team as well as a local favorite.
"There is some tremendous basketball talent among Native Americans," stated Joseph. Samuel is a rare find in an untapped market and the Washington Raptors are pleased to have him on our team."
Boyd attended Centralia College and is employed at the new Great Wolf Lodge in Rochester, WA.
