
Warriors Wrap Preseason with 13-9 Win in Calgary

CALGARY - Keegan Bal scored four times, and Kyle Killen kicked in with a hat trick of his own, as the Vancouver Warriors led from start to finish, knocking off the Calgary Roughnecks 13-9 at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
Vancouver held leads of 3-0 after the opening quarter, 6-3 at the half and 9-8 after three quarters before pulling away with four markers in the final quarter to seal the deal.
In addition to Bal and Killen, the Warriors also saw goals from Adam Charalambides, Marty Dinsdale, Garrett McIntosh, Mitch Jones, Tyson Roe and Logan Schuss.
Alex Buque was solid in net for Vancouver, facing 54 shots and turning aside 45 in the victory.
The Warriors now will hit the road for two games to start the season, the first regular season game in over 600 days will be next Friday night in Southern California when the San Diego Seals will host Vancouver. Game time in SoCal will be at 7 PM.
