
Warriors Season Comes to a Close in 11-9 Loss to Buffalo Bandits

Vancouver, BC - In the second game of a home-and-home series in the NLL semifinals, the Vancouver Warriors had a four-goal third quarter but came up short in an 11-9 loss to the Buffalo Bandits at Rogers Arena.
It was a tight game all the way, the Warriors made a second-half push against the two-time defending NLL Cup champs, but allowed four goals in the fourth quarter. The Bandits outshot the Warriors 41-38.
Adam Charalambides led the way for Vancouver with seven points (3G, 4A), while the Warriors also got scoring from Keegan Bal (2G, 3A), Marcus Klarich (2G, 3A), and singles from Kevin Crowley and Riley Loewen.
Faceoff specialist Alec Stathakis went 15 of 24 in the faceoff circle.
Christian Del Bianco made 30 saves in the loss.
The Warriors made history this season with the franchise's first-ever playoff appearance and first-ever appearance in the Semifinals.
With the loss, the Warriors have been eliminated from the NLL Playoffs. Buffalo will move on to face the winner of Halifax and Saskatchewan in the NLL Finals.
