
Warriors Fall in Shootout to Jr Blues 2-1

Jon Farkas' 3rd goal of the season at the 1:34 mark of the 3rd period tied up tonight's contest between the Springfield Jr Blues and the Michigan Warriors. The Warriors couldn't convert in a 9-round shootout, however and the Blues get the victory with Brennan Jacques netting the winner.
The Blues got in the scoreboard in the first period when Oliver Takacsi-Nagy netted his 2nd goal of the season. Farkas tied the game at 1 in the 3rd, for the Warriors.
Neither team converted in the 5-minute overtime period and the game ended in the 9th round of shootout.
Goaltender Dillon Kelley stopped 18 shots for the Warriors while his counter part Stefanos Lekkas stopped 38 of the 39 shots he faced.
