
Warriors Fall in Shootout 4-3

Michigan Warriors News Release
The Michigan Warriors dropped a 4-3 contest to the Traverse City North Stars in a shootout at Perani Arena and Event Center to open 2012.
The Warriors got goals from Bobby Bodette (2), Derek Knetter (1) and Ben Gislason (3) to hold a 2 goal lead heading into the 3rd period. Traverse City scored 2 goals in the 3rd period to send the game to overtime.
After a scoreless OT segment, Alexander Taulein who scored in regulation beat Warriors Goaltender Brach Tiller for the game winner in shootout.
Prior to the contest the Warriors announced that John Hamre was named Associate Head Coach, to GM and Head Coach Moe Mantha.
The Michigan Warriors host Traverse City on Saturday night Jan 7, 2012 at 7:00 at Perani Arena and Event Center, in game two of the 2-game weekend series.
