The Michigan Warriors winless streak is now up to a season-high 9 games, after Traverse City got out to a 4-goal lead before the Warriors got on the scoreboard. Traverse City answered with a goal less than 2 minutes after the Warriors goal, to close out scoring.
Michigan's lone goal was scored by Joey Ferris at the 8:36 mark of the 3rd period, with assists going to AJ White and Martin Gruse, who returned to the lineup after missing 8 games with an injury.
Michigan's next home game is Saturday night November 12, 2011 when they play host to the Jamestown Ironmen, with a 7:00 face-off.
