Ward Named Shaw CFL Top Performer for Week 7

OTTAWA-GATINEAU - REDBLACKS kicker Lewis Ward has been named one of the CFL's Shaw Top Performers for Week 7, the league announced Tuesday.

Ward had a huge night in Hamilton on Saturday, hitting 7 of 7 field goals and recording all of the REDBLACKS' points in their 21-15 win over the Tiger-Cats at the always tough Tim Hortons Field. Ward's output set a franchise record for most field goals made in a single game. In total, Ward kicked for 245 yards, including a 47 yard field goal.
