San Angelo Stampede Express News Release


The San Angelo Stampede Express of the Intense Football League is putting together all the pieces of the puzzle for the 2007 season. Along with new coaches, top-caliber players, loyal sponsors, and great fans this will be the most successful campaign in team history. However, something is still missing, a top rate dance team.

Tryouts for the Express Dance Team are Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Gold's Gym located at 4110 Sunset Drive. The cost to tryout is $25. Those who wish to tryout will learn the dance beginning at 9:00 a.m. sharp. All those trying out must attend the 9:00 a.m. session. Actual tryouts will be held at 2 p.m.

Pre-Registration applications are available at the Stampede Express offices located at 500 Rio Concho Drive and the Bug Express offices located at 4220 Sherwood Way or on the Stampede Express website. Actual tryouts will be held at 2 p.m.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age and have finished high school. They are expected to wear appropriate dance clothes and shoes. Participants will have to perform in front of a panel of judges.

The Stampede Express will begin their 4th season, with the first home game being April 28th against Frisco at the San Angelo Coliseum. Season tickets are available at the Stampede Express offices located at the San Angelo Convention Center or by calling 947-DOWN (3696) or 653-9577.
