
Stampede Express Receive Proclamation

San Angelo Stampede Express News Release
The Stampede Express received a Proclamation from the city of San Angelo on June 1, 2010. The Proclamation read as follows:
"The San Angelo Stampede Express Indoor Football League was created in 2003 and it is the organization's goal to provide quality family entertainment at an affordable price; and exceptional leadership, dedication, hard work, and a love of sport have contributed to the team's development and success; and the Stampede Express plays an active role in community service by participating in various local charities such as the San Angelo West Rotary, Meals for the Elderly, Boys and Girls Club, and Rebuilding San Angelo; and Most recently the organization participated in a fund raiser that contributed over $3,000.00 to the Children's Miracle Network; and This observance provides as opportunity for the citizens of San Angelo to become familiar with a vital organization committed to teamwork, positive influence, and community support. Now, Therefore, I, Alvin New, Mayor of the City of San Angelo, Texas, on behalf of the City Council, do herby proclaim the month of June, 2010 as "San Angelo Stampede Express Month" and applaud the Stampede Express for their community involvement and outstanding representation of the City of San Angelo."
Darlene Jones and Bridget Jones Carr accepted the Proclamation of behalf of the Stampede Express and thanked the City Council and the citizens of San Angelo for their continued support of the Stampede Express.
