ERIE, PA - (12/28/08) As the Erie RiverRats finalize their tryouts for late January and early February in the tri-state area there is another way that you can be invited to the 2009 Erie RiverRats training camp, which is preliminarily set to begin March 1st, 2009. "One of the best tools to evaluate talent for the upcoming season is through game film," said head coach Steven G. Folmar, "Its tough when guys are sometimes so far away, but it is nice to be able to see how a player does in game situations in college or with another team. That's something you can't necessarily see in tryouts without pads on". The RiverRats coaching staff is constantly evaluating game films sent from prospective players and agents. You can send your 5-10 minute highlight tape or DVD to the Erie RiverRats in care of Coach Folmar, at 925 French St., Suite 3, Erie, PA, 16501. Please send duplicate copies as tapes or DVD's will not be returned. Also include a simple playing resume of any accolades, playing experience (professional and college), statistics as well as current contact information

The AIFA season begins its third season of operations in March with 16 teams from coast to coast and two additional franchises (Richmond, VA and Trenton, NJ) scheduled for the 2010 season. Come join the Erie Riverrats of the American Indoor Football Association in 2009.
