VooDoo kicker Brian Schmitz delivers gifts to students

New Orleans VooDoo K Brian Schmitz was one of several Arena Football League players who delivered over 500 gifts to children at a Chicago elementary school. Schmitz, a four year Arena Football League veteran and four other AFL players handed out the toys and coats to over 200 students at the Myra Bradwell Communications Arts and Sciences Academy on Friday, December 17.

The AFL collected more than 500 new toys and coats to distribute amongst the deserving boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth grade. The wrapped gifts were delivered to the students at an assembly in the school's main assembly hall.

The 2004 Southern Division champion New Orleans VooDoo home opener is Sunday, February 13th at 2:00 p.m., when they host the 2004 AFL champion San Jose SaberCats. The regular-season home schedule includes games against: San Jose, Philadelphia, Tampa Bay, Orlando, Georgia, Columbus, Colorado and Austin. Season ticket plans begin for as low as $96 per seat. There are numerous seating options available in all price ranges.
