
Destroyers single game tickets on sale January 8th

COLUMBUS, OH â The Columbus Destroyers of the Arena Football League announced today that single-game tickets for the team's 2005 season go on sale Saturday, January 8 at 10 a.m. Tickets start as low as $11 and will be available at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster outlets and at the Blue Jackets Zones located at Chiller Dublin, Chiller Easton and Chiller North.
Under the direction of new Head Coach Chris Spielman, the Destroyers open their second season at home on Friday, January 28 when they host the expansion Nashville Kats at Nationwide Arena. The Destroyers' 2005 home schedule features divisional contests with the New York Dragons, Philadelphia Soul and Dallas Desperados. The home slate also includes visits from the Chicago Rush, Las Vegas Gladiators, Austin Wranglers and Tampa Bay Storm.
In addition to the exciting action on the field, fans are invited to take advantage of a host of special ticket packages, premium giveaways and unique promotional opportunities during select games. A complete schedule of game-night promotions, beginning with the opening night Football Movie Marathon hosted by the Arena Grand Theatre, is outlined below.

Fans purchasing the Movie Marathon package will receive a ticket to the opening night game against the Nashville Kats and admission to the post-game event at the Arena Grand Theatre. The all-night movie marathon features screenings of football classics "The Waterboy," "Rudy," "North Dallas Forty," "Remember the Titans," and "Go Tigers," the recent documentary about the famed football team at Massillon High School, alma mater of Chris Spielman.
Special prizes will be awarded to those who complete the marathon by staying until noon on Saturday at which time one of those lucky fans will be awarded the grand prize â a trip for two to ArenaBowl XIX in Las Vegas. Individual game tickets are $11, $13, $18, $20, $25, $30 and $54. Tickets may be purchased at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, at all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers, online at ticketmaster.com or by phone at (614) 431-3600. Tickets are also available at the Blue Jackets Zones located at Chiller Dublin, Chiller Easton and Chiller North. All tickets are subject to service charges and facility fees.
