New Orleans VooDoo News Release
What an amazing week to be a sports fan in New Orleans! Our Hornets bring the NBA post-season to the Big Easy next week as they host the LA Lakers in round one of the playoffs. The first game of that series is Friday night, April 22 -- the night we were scheduled to host the Pittsburgh Power. Obviously the NBA pre-empts arena football in each arena in our league that hosts an NBA team, so we are moving the game from Good Friday up one day to Thursday, April 21 at 7:05.
Because of the holiday schedule and Spring Break in New Orleans, Thursday will give VooDoo fans a better option to attend this game, for many are leaving town for Good Friday and Easter anyway. We're going to still have the Fan Fest Thursday starting at 5:00 PM with a live band, inflatables for the kids, and much more, all leading up to kickoff at 7:05PM.
