VooDoo Assigned QB and OL Amid Departures, Injury

NEW ORLEANS (May 28, 2014) -- The New Orleans VooDoo were assigned 3-year AFL Veteran QB BJ Hall, announced the VooDoo front office Wednesday.

Hall (6-2, 225, Webber International) most recently saw action with the Tampa Bay Storm in 2014, and played for the Orlando Predators in 2013. Prior to the Predators, Hall played for the Toronto Argonauts in 2011 and 2012. Hall made is AFL debut with the Dallas Vigilantes in 2010 when he went 41-70 for 6 Touchdowns.

Quarterback Kurt Rocco is out against Tampa Bay this Friday, and is still having his knee evaluated to see if he will return this season. Hall will back-up VooDoo Quarterback Ryan Perrilloux going into the home game against Tampa Bay this Friday at 7:30pm.

The VooDoo were also assigned rookie OL Ernest Bell (6-0, 320, Alabama State) following the departures of Offensive Linemen Jesse Peterson and Quentin Saulsberry to the Canadian Football League.
