Volunteer to Join the Solar Bears at the 2015 Heart Walk on Saturday, September 12

The Solar Bears continue to support heart health this summer as they join the American Heart Association's Heart Walk on Saturday, September 12. Solar Bears front office, dance team, coaches, and staff, and potentially a player or two, will be walking and fundraising in the Heart Walk for the fourth straight year. Funds raised through the Heart Walk are needed for critical cardiovascular disease and research and education. At last years Heart Walk, the Solar Bears and their fans raised $14,048.

Festivities begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, at the University of Central Florida, 4000 Central Florida Blvd, Orlando, FL, 32816. Opening Ceremonies are scheduled to start at 7:30 a.m. and the Heart Walk starts at 8 a.m. Walkers have the option of a one mile "Survivor Route" or a 5k (3.1 miles) Route.

Incentives:

Fans that walk with us on September 12th and raise $25 or more online (prior to September 9th) will receive an Orlando Solar Bears "Team Shades" T-Shirt

Fans that walk with us on September 12th and raise $100 or more online will receive one (1) Center Ice VIP ticket to a regular season home game and an invitation to the Orlando Solar Bears "Heart Walk After Party" with our players (date TBD - value $100). Walkers at this level can buy up to 3 additional passes to the "After Party" game/event

Grand Prizes for the top three fan fundraisers will be awarded at the Solar Bears Awards Show in 2016
