Voltigeurs hockey club announces major changes within the hockey personnel

DRUMMONDVILLE, Monday December 13th 2004 - The Drummondville Voltigeurs Hockey Club has named Mr Dominic Ricard general manager for the remainder of the 2004-2005 season and, by the same token, has named Mr Michel Georges as special advisor to the general manager.

The Drummondville Voltigeurs Hockey Club has given a two-year contrat to Mr Ricard as head coach and named him interim general manager for the rest of the year. As for Mr Michel Georges, he has been named special advisor to the general manager. These nominations come into full force this Monday, December 13th.

The Drummondville Voltigeurs wish to thank Mr Georges for the five years within its organization as general manager and are happy to count on Mr Georges to ensure a smooth transition.

Michel Georges was able to build a competitive team in Drummondville and ensured stability in the hockey side of the management all through those five years. We thank him for his hard work and devotion to our team's cause. On the other side of the coin, Dominic Ricard's nomination demonstrates that the goal of our organization is to build a dynamic team turned towards the future. Dominic possesses indeniable qualities as leader and organizer, said Mr Eric Verrier, president of the Board of Directors of the Drummondville Voltigeurs.
